Sullivan City – Olegario Peña, was born on May 13th, 1950 in Mexico, to Olegario Peña † and Josefina Cortina † passed away on Sunday, October 9th, 2022 in Mission, Texas. He is now reunited with his loving parents. Left to cherish his loving memory is his loving wife; Idalia Flores De Peña, his children; Sonia E. (Oberlin Cortez) Peña, Idalia M. (Jose A Garcia) Peña and Inarei (Aaron Flores) Peña. He will also be greatly missed by his adoring grandchildren; Oberlin Cortez Jr., Sebastian Cortez, Jasiel Cortez, Lisset Cortez, Ayari Garcia, Jose A Garcia Jr. and Arleth Garcia. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 11:00am to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at The Lord and I Funeral Home – Peñitas, Texas. Followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 12:00pm at Our Lady Queen of Angels in La Joya, Texas. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at The Lord and I Cemetery – Peñitas, Texas. During the climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of The Lord and I Funeral Home – Peñitas, Texas. Amigos y familiares se reunirán para una visitacion el Martes, 11 de octubre de 2022 de las 11:00am a las 9:00pm con un Rosario a las 7:00pm en la Funeraria The Lord and I – Peñitas, Texas. Seguira por una misa fúnebre el miércoles, 12 de octubre de 2022 a las 12:00pm en la iglesia Our Lady Queen of Angels – La Joya, Texas. Sepelio seguirá a la 1:00pm en el cementerio The Lord and I – Peñitas, Texas. Durante el clima que rodea COVID, se les pide a los visitantes que usen una mascarilla/cubrebocas.
