Palmview ⁓ Juan Veloz Salas, born to Rafael Veloz and Esther Salas, on January 7, 1944 in Mexico entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, in McAllen, Texas. Mr. Veloz’s memory will be cherished by his loving wife; Guadalupe Garza de Veloz and his caring children; Maria Esther Gomez, Juan Manuel Veloz Jr., Jorge Elliued Veloz, and Zamira Patricia Garcia, along with his adoring grandchildren; Yesenia Gomez, Jose Gomez, Bernice Garcia, Tanya Barrera, Tommy Veloz, Destiny Veloz, Briana Garcia, and Keila Veloz. He will also be greatly missed by his dear great-grandchildren; Josaiah Barrera, Ian Barrera, Lexi Belote, Aylani Rodriguez and Arlo Lozoya. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Sunday, June 9th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in the main chapel in Mission, Texas. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, June 10th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas. Interment will proceed at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas. Su memoria será atesorada por su amada esposa; Guadalupe Garza de Veloz y sus queridos hijos: Maria Esther Gomez, Juan Manuel Veloz Jr., Jorge Elliued Veloz, y Zamira Patricia García, junto con sus amables nietos; Yesenia Gomez, Jose Gomez, Bernice García, Tanya Barrera, Tommy Veloz, Destiny Veloz, Briana Garcia, y Keila Veloz. Sus amorosos bisnieots también lo extrañarán mucho; Josaiah Barrera, Ian Barrera, Lexi Belote, Aylani Rodriguez y Arlo Lozoya. Familiares y amigos se reunirán para un velorio el domingo 9 de junio de 2024 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con un rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en Virgil Wilson Mortuary en la capilla principal en Mission, Texas. Seguirá con una misa fúnebre el lunes 10 de junio de 2024 a las 10:00 a.m. en Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Iglesia Católica en Mission, Texas.
