Palmview – Maria Eugenia Flores, 56, joined the Lord in Heaven on Thursday, February 14, 2021. She was born on November 11, 1964 in McAllen, Texas to Hector Flores and Bertha Alicia Guerra. She is preceded in death by her father – Hector Flores. She is survived by her loving husband - Francisco Garcia and her mother Bertha Alicia Guerra. Along, with her 2 children, Artemio Garcia Flores (April), Carolina Garcia Flores (Alberto). She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren: Mario Garcia, April Garcia, Ana Paula Garcia, and Sofia Isabel Ochoa, and her siblings - San Juanita Flores, Edith Flores, Hector Hugo Flores, Felipe Flores. Visitation was scheduled for Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Penitas, Texas. Funeral service was officiated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Lord and I Memorial Chapel in Penitas, Texas. Interment followed at Santa Fe Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
