Mission - Juana Pena, born on June 19, 1940 to Jose Maria Hernandez and Sofia Sanchez, entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2021 in Mission, Texas. She proceeded in death by her dear husband Santos Pena. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Rosa Idalia Torres (Juan), Aracely Esparza (Javier), Veronica Aidee Gonzalez (Samuel), Claudia Isela Esparza (Ruben) and Juanita Esparza, her 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 9 siblings and numerous family and friends. Family and friends will gather for a visitation at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission on Monday December 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary.
