Sullivan City – Joel Acosta, 57, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 01, 2020 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. He was born on May 31, 1963 in Diaz Ordaz Tamaulipas, Mexico to Maria Elena Reynoso and Emeregildo Acosta. He is preceded in death by his beloved father Emeregildo Acosta. He is survived by his loving wife: Estela Acosta Cadena and their children: Daisy Y. (Rene) Acosta, Francisco Javier (Viridiana) Acosta, Joel (Brenda) Acosta Jr., Jesus (Ludwika) Acosta, Estela (Jorge) Acosta and Jaime V. (Ashley) Acosta. He will be greatly missed by his 12 grandchildren; his loving mother: Maria Elena Acosta and his siblings: Jose Acosta, Cesar Acosta, Leticia Acosta and Yadira Acosta. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 02, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Sullivan City. Funeral Service will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Lord and I Memorial Chapel in Sullivan City. Interment will follow at Sullivan City Cemetery in Sullivan City.
