Palmview Texas- Israel Zamora Gonzalez born on Junel 13, 1948 in Mexico, to Santos Norberto Zamora Sr. and Josefina Gonzalez De Leon, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 in Palmview, Texas at the age of 73. Mr Zamora is preceded in death by both his parents and his loving wife of 50 years Maria De Los Angeles Zamora. Left to cherish his memory is his adoring children: Israel Zamora, Jr(Dora Hilda), Irasema Cabada(Eliazar), Ismael Zamora, Isabel Zamora(Ranulfo Andrade Jr), Isidro Zamora, Ivan Zamora(Yahaira Bazan), and Ignacio Zamora(Elizabeth Tovar). He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Imelda Gonzalez, Idalia Gonzalez, Hilda Zamora, Isaura Palomo, Inez Pedraza, Irma Bravo, Maria Concepcion Zamora, and Santos Norberto Zamora Jr., in addition to 26 lovely grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Friends and family will gather for a visitation at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary. A Chapel Service will take place the following day Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the same location in Peñitas, Texas at 10:00AM. Interment is to follow at the Lord & I Cemetery in Peñitas, Texas. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Tx.
