December 12, 1942 - January 29, 2022
McAllen, Texas - Guadalupe Enríquez was the youngest of four and born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, México on December 12, 1942. He left us to be with the Lord at 79 years old on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents: German and Eutimia Enríquez, and his grandson: Adan D. Barrientos Jr. On November 6, 1966 he married his loving and caring wife, Teodora Enríquez, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage and had 5 children. Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Teodora Enríquez, his 5 children: Julia Pequeño (Frank), Patricia Enríquez (Armando P. Durán), Guadalupe Enríquez Jr., Enedina Ybarra, and Idolina Barrientos (Adan). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Natalie Ybarra, Valerie, Alex, and Alexia Sanchez, Javier and Michael Pequeño, and Armando Durán. As a husband and a father, he dedicated himself to always being there for his wife, his 5 children, and 8 grandchildren. Guadalupe was a man of faith who taught us to always put God first in life. He was a hardworking, tireless man that worked in construction. His five children knew him as a teacher in life that taught us how to constantly treat others with respect and how to always help those in need. We would like to thank all our family and friends who have sent their prayers, calls, and visits during this difficult time.
