Peñitas, Texas – Our beautiful Nana was the heart of our family. She was witty; she was funny, and she absolutely loved her family. She will be unbelievably missed by all, but it gives us comfort knowing that she is at peace with our Welito. Dora Ramirez was born on September 02, 1940 in Peñitas, Texas to Arturo Garza † and Senovia Garza †. She passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Peñitas, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her loving parents and her loving husband Baldemar Ramirez †; siblings Alma Quihuis, Arturo Garza Jr., and Consuelo Garza. Left to cherish her loving memory are her caring children: Baldemar (Cynthia) Ramirez Jr., Eduardo (Adriana) Ramirez, Leticia (Rene) Rodriguez, Grace (Rhaudell) Cordova, and her siblings Olga Reyna, Perla Ramos and Jose Luis Garza. She also leaves behind grandchildren Amanda Lee, Kristy, Stephen, Rolando, Joshua, Rhaudell III, Claire, Cesar, Jakob, Alyssa, Gabriel, Laura, and Thomas. Great-grandchildren: Ezra, Madison, Gavin, Brandon, Emma and Brian. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. There will also be a funeral mass held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñitas, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:45 pm at Lord and I Cemetery, Palmview, Texas. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of The Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas.
