Palmview, Texas - Aleida Perez, born on January 24th, 1967, to Juan Saldana and Maria Inez Silva in McAllen, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 04, 2022, in Houston, Texas at the age of 55. Left to cherish her memory are her parents as well as her loving husband: Elfego Perez, her adoring children: Carlos Perez (Lorena),Denny Perez (Cesiah), Jessica Perez (Emmanuel Medina), Nahum Perez (Clarisa) and her siblings: Roel Saldaña, Juan Saldaña, Elizabeth Medrano, Leticia Mendez, Nina Yvonne Saldaña, Nina Marisol Saldaña, Felicitas Espino, and Diana Zapata. Left to cherish her memory will also be her 10 grandchildren: Michelle Perez, Carols I Perez, Genesis Perez, Vivian Medina, Danae Perez, Patrick Perez, Eliab Perez, Elicier Medina, Ezra Perez, and Anthony Perez. Aleida worked as the Palmview City Clerk for 16 years and will be greatly missed by her colleagues and was very appreciated for her years of dedication for her service to the city. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7:00PM Prayer Service, at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Penitas, Texas. On Wednesday, February 9th at 10:00AM , a chapel service will be held till 10:40AM. Interment will follow at The Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview, TX. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, TX.
