Palmview, Texas ~ Maria Leonor Rodriguez was born on April 12, 1941 in Elsa, Texas and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the age of 81. Maria was the daughter of Isidoro Hernandez and Emilia Gonzalez. She is now reunited with her departed loved ones who include her loving parents; Isidoro Hernandez † and Emilia Gonzalez † also her loving husband; Baldomero Rodriguez †. Left to cherish her loving memory is her adoring children; Martina Salazar (Santiago Salazar), Norma E. Dominguez (Guadalupe Dominguez) and San Juanita Rodriguez. She will also be missed by grandchildren; Deyanira Salazar, Jose B. Dominguez, Mayra A. Salinas, Reynaldo Lopez Jr., Maryly Dominguez and Santiago Salazar; and her greatgrandchildren; Miranda Ramos, Jose Angel, Mauricio, Gael Dominguez, Emily, Jocelyn, Kimberly Gracia, Sebastian, Eliana Marie Salinas, Santiago, Keylane Salazar, Renato, Remy, Rene Lopez. Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas. Followed by a Chapel Service on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview, Texas. During the climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of The Lord and I Funeral Home – Peñitas, Texas.
