Mission, Texas ~ Lydia C. Moreno was born on September 25, 1937 in Mexico. Daughter of Gregorio Cantu † and Estella Ramirez †, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in Edinburg, Texas. She is now reunited with her adoring parents; Gregorio Cantu † and Estella Ramirez †, her husband; Jesus Moreno Jr. †, her son; Gregorio Moreno †, her brothers; Humberto Cantu †, Hector Cantu †, Felix Cantu †, Leonel Cantu †, as well as her son in law; Jose Longoria †. Left to cherish her loving memory are her children; Jorge (Rosa) Moreno, Juan J. (Graciela) Moreno, Lupita Longoria and Lisa M. Villarreal, as well as her siblings; Gregorio Cantu and San Juanita Alaniz. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, as well as numerous family and friends. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and a prayer service at 7:00pm at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas. A chapel service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:00pm at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Edinburg, Texas at 2:00pm. During the climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary – Mission, Texas. Mission, Texas ~ Lydia C. Amigos y familiares se reunirán para una visitación el domingo, 18 de diciembre de 2022 entre las 5:00pm y las 9:00pm con un servicio de oración a las 7:00pm en la funeraria de Virgil Wilson Mortuary en Mission, Texas. Seguido por un servicio de capilla el lunes, 19 de diciembre de 2022 a las 12:00pm en la funeraria de Virgil Wilson Mortuary en Mission, Texas. Sepelio seguirá en el cementerio de Hillcrest en Edinburg, Texas a las 2:00pm. Durante el clima que rodea COVID, se les pide a los visitantes que usen una mascarilla/cubrebocas.
