Aurora Mirta Trigo

Our beloved, Aurora Mirta Flores Trigo, went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted servant of Christ, Mrs. Trigo lived her life grounded in faith and guided by love. She had a selfless heart, a strong and graceful spirit, and a deep, abiding devotion to her family. Mrs. Trigo dedicated her life to education for over 39 years serving as a beloved teacher, mentor and center director for the Hidalgo County Head Start program. She touched countless lives with her compassion, humility, and generosity, always putting others before herself. Mrs. Trigo found great joy in music and loved to sing, often filling every room with warmth and light through her voice and presence. She was the life of every gathering, bringing laughter, energy, and love wherever she went. Her joyful spirit and radiant smile were truly unforgettable. Mrs. Trigo leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and resilience, one that will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on in our hearts and in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Mrs. Trigo was preceded in death by her parents, Yolanda G. Flores and Florentino Flores Jr., her brother, Alejandro Flores, sisters, Aminda F. Muñoz & Argentina Ramirez and granddaughters Faith and Grace Gallardo. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Luis Trigo; her daughters, Myra (Ric) Ramos, Roxanne Lee Trigo, Brenda (Robert) Gallardo, and Terri Trigo; her cherished grandchildren: Ricardo (RJ), Romeo, Victoria, Cristian, Noah, Keilah, Alejandro (AJ) (Alexandra), Delilah, Ezekiel, Diego, Paul Daniel, Jose Luis, Sofía, and Sebastian; and her adored great-grandchildren: Monserrat, Julio Cesar, and Armani. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM and a rosary reciting at 7 PM at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Penitas, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Los Ebanos, Texas followed by a burial at 11 AM, at Rio Grande Valley State Veteran's State Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the care of The Lord and I Funeral Home of Penitas, Texas.
